New version of Compound Theory is now live!

I can’t believe the last time I did an update to this blog’s design was 2005, which was a long, long, long time ago.

This site has now been migrated over to WordPress and thanks to the wonderful skills of my wife Amy , is sporting a much nicer look than I could ever have come up with myself.

I’m sure there will be some kinks to work out, and a few issues here and there, so if you find anything, please do drop me a note (you now find pretty much all my contact details and social doohickeys at the top of the site!)

I’m hoping this will lead to much more blogging as well, as I’ve been playing with some stuff I’m really enjoying – including ansible, clojure, graph databases, websockets and a touch of webrtc as well, which I’ve wanted to write about, but the horrible aesthetic of the previous incarnation of this blog seriously put me off.

Lots of new things on the horizon!!!

Cool design. I appreciate the minimalist approach and color scheme but why isn’t it responsive? In this day and age it’s kind of a requirement for any new site and it really isn’t that much work. I love WordPress. Even their default theme is now responsive and there are tons of themes in the wild that are responsive as well.

Oooh nice. Welcome back. On my monitor the background colours are exactly the same as faded 30 year old green and white stripey band printer paper. I’m getting olfactory flashbacks – ozone and paper dust, mmmmm.
